I am also closly related to the local Dot Net group KolkataNet  registered at INETA. I enjoy going to the meeting as they are very interesting and I can share my thoughts with other developer and in the process help myself and other developer. Payroll and Incentive Calculation and accounting Systems
Client : ITC Limited, Kolkata·(Asp.Net, VB.Net and Oracle)

• The payroll and Incentive Calculation and Accounting Systems, a web based application, developed to provide salary functionalities for multi-locational employees of ITC Limited encompassing the maintenance of Employee Master Information, Employee attendance and Leave records.
• Processing of daily production based different types of Incentive calculations of each employee, and their monthly consolidation, Salary adjustment, reimbursement, Bonus and arrears due to leave adjustments and retrospective changes for the rate of earnings, TDS of employees and their Returns and generation of pay slip and Reports.
• The system also calculates all Yearly Pay slip / Non-Pay slip payments like Leave encashment, Annual Productivity Bonus, and Leave Travel Assistance.
• Flexibility is the mainstay of this system that has been built to take care of variations including change of parametric values.

Retail Classification System (RCS)
Client : ITC Limited, Kolkata·(Asp.Net, VB.Net and Oracle)

Retail Classification System (RCS), a web based application, designed to provide managerial decision-making support covering the Marketing and Sales functionalities of ITC Ltd.

• The System is developed to provide to maintain the master Information of Outlets and Distributors, and their marketing and sales information of every ITC Brands and Products of FMCG segments vs. ITC’s competitors.
• The system is designed for flexibility while generating predefined and adhoc reports for different district, branch, Circle, Section, Wholesale Distributor spread all over India, with complex market variables
• The system has three level of access check based on geographical constraints based on which the system allows the user to view the form or even Insert/Edit at the particular page.

Signature Days
ASP.Net, VB.Net and SQL Server

• Signature Days is an online provider of experience gifts for any occasion. The user interface is cross-browser compatible, user friendly and designed to deliver high-impact presentation to clients on a competitive but lucrative industry that caters to the leisure market
• The site is in a high profile sector and has earned total sales revenue of $0.5 million in first six months of operation. More notably, Signature Days gift vouchers were distributed to winners of the Oscars award 2006 as part of their ‘Gift Hamper’.
• The shopping cart holds different types of products (Of dissimilar structure) and has facility for shipping to multiple recipients. These two features bring unique challenges to this project not usually found in other e-Commerce websites.
• The site back end deals with data entry for the catalog, order fulfillment, booking management and scheduling, and keeping track of payments. It has to deal with up to 250 orders a day during peak season.
• Payment Gateway integration (Verisign), Dynamic keyword/Visitors/sales tracking, integration with multiple third-party providers for receiving and delivering various services.

• CapitalTiger.com is a website started to assist mumineen in business. It does so by bringing together investors and investment seekers. In this way it provides funds to the investment seekers and investment opportunities to the investors.
• The system allows the user to sign up and Post their project (Either and Enquiry or an Order) ion the system. If the user wants to Invest in some project then he can also search for the projects based on various criteria.
• During posting a project User will have to provide many details related to the project. The site Administrator then reviews the project and either Publishes the project or returns it to the user for modifications. After modification the project is posted in the site and is ready to be searched by Investors.
• The Investor searches the site to find some good project to invest in. IF the investor finds some project to his Interest he can contact the Investor seeker through site. Only the profile chosen by an User is displayed to other users.

Timesheet Tracker
ASP.Net, C#, Atlas and SQL Server 2000

• This is an web based intranet Application to keeps track of time spent on specified projects. The Major module of project were Time entry, Membership and Profile, Master data entry forms and various report for the Administrator.
• The project used Ajax technology in the various part of the project. The admin report consisted of Tree view type structure created with the help of Gridview and good use of Ajax( Atlas Framework).

• This is my persoanl website created for blogging. I have long plans for adding more and more features to this site. Firstly I would like to add multiple theme to the site.
• I will also be blogging at the site about all the new technology that I learn or any thing else that I should share with all.
• I would also like to thanks Shanku Niyogi for creating a good starter kit. I have used his blogstarterkit for creating the site and will be ading more and more stuff top the starter kit. One of the first few things would be change of theme on the fly.
• I have also added a lot of AJAX technology the site and also lot of blogs on them.
• Also added URL rewriting to the site. The URL of the site is rewritten using the HTTP modules. Hence if you go to see a particular blog you will see the Title of the blog as the URL of that page.

CG Transaction System
Dot.Net(Windows Programming), C#(Socket Programming), and SQL Server 2000.

• CG (Concord Global) deals in foreign exchange. They already have a system built in PHP MySQL to keep track of the business with the client in the foreign Exchange Market. This project is about creating a Windows Application (An Operator – Client chat system and a live transaction system for foreign exchange).
• CG wanted to give their client the power to make live transaction (Without calling their agents). The windows Application will show the client live prices of the Foreign Exchange Market. The Application will also give the client the ability to do business directly.
• The Application checks if the client is allowed to make the amount of transaction he is asking for and also if the Administrator has allowed such big transaction to go through without the interference of the operator. If yes the transaction will be logged in the database and the operators will be notified.If no then all the operator will get the notification of the transaction and will decide on the transaction.
• The Application also provides for Client – operator chat functionality. Through the Application the client of the CG will be able to chat with the operators.
• The project is made in C# and Dot Net 2.0 and uses Sockets for various application to talk with each other
